So far the freezer has worked the way it should. When I got it home, I had to reconnect the plug at the bottom of the freezer that controlled the door, not a big deal. My non-frost free freezer finally gave up and I have loved this upgrade 100%. Bright, Light, and does its job well.

The features are where it's at

We choose this unit because of the features which include staying cold up to 2 days during a power outage (important in hurricane season) and an automatic close within 5 inches (important with kids). Bonus that it's a nice dark grey/charcoal color and matches our existing appliances opposed to generic black or white that should be hid away in a garage.

No complaints on the freezer. Cooled really fast and functions well. Handle was a little bit of a pain to put on with the screw so close to the finish on the front. And Frigidaire themselves couldn™€™t tell me the weight capacity of the shelves™€¦ so fingers crossed they don™€™t shatter. Otherwise, it™€™s a nice addition to the kitchen!

Came broken. Frigidaire unresponsive

Dissapointed in NJ 11/28/2023

Freezer came broken. Excessive frost everywhere. Have had to wait twice for repair. People who showed up late with very large windows. Neither could fix. Frigidaire now wants me to wait for another technician to come to the house. Since their repair services don™€™t come weekdays after 5 PM and since they will only give out five hour windows of repair. I am forced to wait for weekends. The customer service representatives have been completely unsympathetic to our plate, and I have no confidence at Frigidaire will resolve this issue. Even if they do at this point the time I have put into this is more than the freezer was worth. Bottom line do not buy from this company or any of their affiliate, such as Electrolux Run fast run

We™€™ve only had this a month, but so far there have been no issues. We did buy the five year extended warranty as none seem to last as long as they used to. The reason we chose this over the white 20 ft.³ freezer was because it had an extra shelf, nicer color, and magnetic seals to hopefully have the door close easier! I really also like the fact that it is manufactured in the USA.

When I first ordered this freezer from Lowes it was set to come the following week, but it was back ordered several times, it was worth the wait!! I had seen the freezer in white in the store but when I realized I could order the grey color I was very pleased as this will be kept in a garage and white does not go well in a well used garage. When shopping for an upright freezer I looked at several makes and models, this one was the most bang for the buck and the glass shelving and door storage had me sold. The door storage is deceivingly deeper than you think-again bonus for waiting through multiple shipping delays. The freezer was shipped with cardboard over box but had styrofoam and shrink wrap - very well packaged

This freezer is beautiful and has tons of space. It looks sleek and gets down to temperature quickly. The shelves on the door hold more than I thought they would and seem like they will be easy to clean. It took about a month and a half to receive this freezer. That was frustrating, but I can say it was worth the wait!

We were able to fit everything from our overflowing freezer with room to spare and everything seems to be going great. We live jvm Minnesota and there temperatures are just now starting to drop below freezing so we'll have to see how she fares through the winter.

I love this freezer. Easy access to find items, large enough for our family. Love that I could buy extra shelves since I really like using baskets. The height of the basket allows another shelf to fit more items and not stack so high that things fall over. I also have my 86 year old mother living with me. Her arthritis is so bad that she doesn't always feel to know the door is shut. The auto close is the best feature for her. This way I don't worry about food thawing anymore. The bottom basket, which I love for veggies is also high enough to fit a great amount. The colour was also a nice feature for me. We keep it in our heated garage and everything is either black or grey. It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb the way white does. Very stylish.

unearnable, cold and nice looking unit. I had to switch door opening for logistics reasons and there was the bad parts of it. We need to unscrew the top and bottom bracket.... and the bottom screw was too mild to makes treads on the new bracket. Need to find an other screw from hardware store...one was too short the other too long. Need to cut the longer one but again unable to self screw. Need to tap the bracket my self. I'm a handy man with tools luckily. I certainly will buy again and i will pay 3 more $ for pre treaded bracket and spare hardware.

A good freezer

My old freezer wasn™€™t self-defrosting and I was tired of the annual chore. My new freezer is supposed to self-defrost and it™€™s roomier. The door has a strong magnetic closure and before it was full, it was almost impossible to open since it™€™s on wheels. Now, properly weighted down, it opens easily. I like the indicator on the door. If it loses power, it will be easily detectable.

Great freezer, except it stopped working in two weeks. So the $500 worth? of. perishables perished. as they were thawed out. in a 36 hour. and it spent 45 minutes just getting somebody over the phone. from Home Depot and Frigidaire. The number they have on their website and on the users manual. Automated service just says there's nobody here and nobody can take your call. And then it hangs up on you. I had to get somebody from Home Depot to get ahold of somebody at Frigidaire. 45 minutes.
